This blue dinosaur has tentacles. It traded the tentacles with an octopus that wanted to take a stroll. They came up with an agreement where they would alternate locomotion mechanisms every other week. That way they both can enjoy spending time with their friends wherever they are.
Jessica was sad because she was not getting a good grade in Anatomy and she’s not very good at pokemon.

This is a tap-dancing-astronaut-creature with many legs.
Tappity, tap, tap. Tap, tappity. Taptap.
The creature dances out of its spaceship and into the space station. All the other creatures clap their many hands or stomp their many feet.
Laura has a hard time making decisions, knowing when to take a risk or stay with the familiar. That makes her sad.

Look at the lobster! It is cheering because food arrived. It ordered a giant plate of soggy bread. The lobster loves soggy bread. It went to the most popular soggy bread restaurant in the bottom of the sea. They kill the soggy bread lobsterly so that it doesn’t suffer.
Abel’s girlfriend was very sad because her dog was sick.

This dinosaur went to a dinosaur party in an asteroid. It was the first one to get there and it is taking the time to practice its dance moves. It has been doing the robot for the last 10 minutes.
Shane was about to student teach and enter the real world. He is sad because he doesn’t know where he’s going to end up in life and it is a scary feeling.

The crocodile didn’t start scuba diving until very recently. He always thought that it was a very expensive past time but he talked to his friend the seal and it told him that crocodiles don’t need much equipment. The seal did recommend getting a pair of flippers because it is fun to walk with the flippers on.
Ryan was sad because it was nearly the end of the term and he wouldn’t get to see his super-amazing friends and girlfriend for three weeks.

This hippo went to a costume party dressed as a rooster and nobody could recognize it. It was the most imposing rooster anyone had ever seen and everyone felt awkward because it was supposed to be a hippo only costume party. He removed its comb and snot while saying “it’s me!” so that the other hippos could recognize him.
All the hippos laughed until they snorted.
Jenny is turning 50 in a couple of weeks. That is not sad in and of itself, but she’s in some heart romantic sadness from something with someone that has been fun and sweet and hopeful for past 8 months. She’s sad and having to mend a heart. There again.

This is my friend Defloooop. She was telling me about how uncomfortable it is to have to shake hands with your trunk. She says that people’s hands taste funny.
Defloooop has phenomenal culinary skills and her pancakes are the best.

Catstronaut is studying his spaceship for cracks that might jeopardize its structural integrity. Catstronaut fixes the cracks by mixing hairballs with wood glue. It is gross but important cat engineers know that it is a strong adhesive capable of experiencing the rigors of cat space travel.
marc is sad because he’s 25 and going nowhere in life.

This fish likes to visit many places. He often travels without a map and takes random turns in search of adventure. One day he ended up swimming amongst the clouds and had to ask for directions back to his home in the lake.

This tomato is very startled. It has been so shocked that its face may get stuck like this for the rest of its life. It may have just seen the ghost of an eggplant or maybe it’s coming out from a phenomenal movie.
I would have tried asking it what had he seen that was so astonishing but I am scared of trauma.
